Job summary

OHSU Casey Eye Institute in Portland, OR seeks an ophthalmic imaging specialist to perform fundus photography, angiography and OCT imaging for clinical teaching and research. Responsibilities include training staff, maintaining equipment, and supporting procedures in the operating room and clinics.

Required five years of ophthalmic imaging experience and a related health-care degree with BLS certification. This is a full-time, on-site role within the Department of Ophthalmology.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience performing Ophthalmic Imaging.
• BLS from AHA required; degree or equivalent with relevant imaging knowledge.
• Knowledge of ophthalmic imaging methods, materials and equipment.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and teaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform ophthalmic imaging including fundus photography and angiography.
• Operate and maintain ophthalmic imaging instruments and document procedures.
• Train residents and staff on imaging techniques and new developments.
• Travel to satellite clinics to perform imaging and support research.
