EyeSouth Partners is hiring a Clinical Research Assistant to support a high-volume Research Department within an ophthalmic practice that delivers quality and compassionate eye care to every patient.

You will coordinate clinical trials, act as a medical scribe, recruit and screen subjects, record ocular history and visual acuity, arrange visits and testing, collect data, and ensure adherence to GCP guidelines while collaborating with physicians and staff.

Qualificações

  • Ophthalmic and/or optometric technician experience preferred.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

  • Coordinate clinical trial procedures and ensure execution per protocols.
  • Act as a medical scribe during physician examinations.
  • Recruit and screen subjects to participate in trials.
  • Record ocular and systemic history and visual acuity.
  • Coordinate participant visits and related testing.
  • Collect accurate data from research visits.
  • Monitor participants to ensure protocol adherence.
  • Maintain compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and SOPs.
  • Maintain relationships with site staff, subjects, and sponsor delegates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Research Coordinator.

Position Summary

We are now hiring for a Clinical Research Assistant that will support a high-volume Research Department within an ophthalmic practice that focuses on providing quality and compassionate care to each patient needing complete eye care services.


Responsibilities

A CRA is responsible for performing procedures and coordinating the execution of clinical trials in accordance with research protocols.


Clinical



  • Ability to act as a medical scribe while physician examines subject

  • Recruit and screen subjects to participate in trials

  • Takes ocular and systemic history and accurately records visual acuity

  • Coordinate patient visits and perform procedures and testing related to research

  • Collect accurate data obtained from research visits

  • Monitor research participants to ensure adherence to study protocol

  • Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines including regulatory and ethical standards

  • Maintain relationships with site staff, study subjects, and sponsor delegates

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinical Research Coordinator

  • Maintain compliance with all research Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)


Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:



  • Ophthalmic and/or optometric technician experience preferred
