Responsibilities include taking medical histories, performing visual tests, using tools like Humphrey analyzer and OCT, informing ophthalmologists of changes, dilating eyes, and assisting with inventory. Travel to other locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and verify information.
• Perform visual function and diagnostic tests (e.g., tonometry, refraction, retinoscopy).
• Utilize tools such as Humphrey field analyzer and OCT for eye measurements.
• Inform ophthalmologist about changes to visual acuity and other issues.
• Dilate eyes to prepare patients for exam.
• Explain how to use eye drops or medications.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Must be willing to travel to other locations.
