Job summary

PIH Health Hospital is seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant to support eye care teams in a patient-centered environment. Under supervision of the department Office Manager, Administrative Manager or practitioner, you will perform patient-oriented procedures and coordinate care across locations.

The role requires knowledge of ophthalmic terminology, infection control, and strong typing, computer and EHR skills. Travel to different practice sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of Ophthalmology experience required.
• Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of ophthalmic terminology and infection control.

Responsibilities
