CHRISTUS Health in Longview, TX seeks an Ophthalmic Scribe to support physicians during exams and procedures. You will collect patient histories, educate patients, and assist with routine documentation while maintaining compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include performing ophthalmic assessments and tests such as visual acuity, keratometry, refraction, OCT, pachymetry, and other testing as directed; assist with retinoscopy and A-scan; follow physician protocols and fill in at Special

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of accredited Vision program preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist the doctor in patient care, collect patient history, and provide patient education.
• Perform workups and tests such as visual acuity, lensometry, color vision, visual field tests, keratometry, refraction, Amslers, muscle testing, topography, pupil exams, OCT, pachymetry and other testing as directed by physician.
• Perform advanced workups in retinoscopy and A‑scans as directed by physician.
• Follow physician protocol for A‑scans and fill in at Special Testing when needed.
