Job summary

CEENTA is seeking a compassionate Ophthalmic Assistant to support our Providers in delivering high-quality patient care in our busy ophthalmic clinics. You’ll perform clinical testing, assist with exams and procedures, document findings in the EHR, and help keep the clinics running smoothly.

Shifts are 7:30a–5:00p, Mon–Fri with occasional rotation. Must have a high school diploma and 6–12 months of ophthalmology/optometry experience; travel to other CEENTA locations may be required; training and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–12 months of ophthalmology or optometry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect history; document in the EHR.
• Perform ophthalmic testing and assist with exams.
• Prepare rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain safety standards.
• Travel to other CEENTA locations as needed.
