Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) - JCAHPO required
• 0-1 year ophthalmology clinic experience or ICA Assistant-level training program required
• Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive ophthalmic testing, vision assessments, and diagnostic imaging.
• Document patient histories and clinical measurements.
• Administer ophthalmic medications and eye drops as directed.
• Assist ophthalmologists with minor procedures.
• Prepare patients and rooms for evaluation and treatment.
