Job summary

Comprehensive EyeCare Partners in Las Vegas is seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant to support ophthalmologists in delivering eye care services. You will assist with clinical testing and maintain efficient patient flow, while handling administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include performing specialized eye exams, conducting tests such as Visual Aids, OCT, and corneal topography, providing prescription refill support, educating patients on medications and pre/post-operative care, and maintaining

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a customer-facing position preferred.
• Medical related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized eye exam testing while streamlining patient flow.
• Conduct other diagnostic tests such as Visual Aids, OCT, and corneal topography.
• Provide phone support with prescription refills as authorized by the physician.
• Educate patients regarding administration of medications and pre- and post-operative instructions as directed by the physician.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Other duties as assigned.
