Job summary

Penmac Staffing Services, Inc. seeks an Operator Lead for our growing data center operation. This hands-on leadership role directs a team of Data Center Operators, coordinates daily workloads, and ensures quality standards are met while maintaining a safe, organized environment.

You will train staff, monitor KPIs, and collaborate across departments to optimize operations. Leadership experience and strong problem-solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous Lead, Team Lead, or similar leadership experience.
• Experience in a data center, warehouse, manufacturing, production, logistics, or other fast-paced operational environment preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide direction, coaching, and constructive feedback.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational needs.
• Dependable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to learn and follow established procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and support to Data Center Operators.
• Coordinate daily workloads and ensure assignments are completed accurately and on time.
• Work alongside the team and assist with operational tasks as needed.
• Train and support new employees on procedures, safety expectations, and quality standards.
• Monitor productivity, quality metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify workflow issues, delays, or operational concerns and communicate them to leadership.
• Serve as a resource for team members when questions or issues arise.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure procedures are consistently followed.
• Coordinate with other departments to support efficient operations.
• Assist with attendance tracking and timekeeping processes, including identifying timecard exceptions.
• Provide backup support for supervisors when needed.
• Promote a professional, safe, and organized work environment.
• Lead by example through reliability, accountability, and strong work ethic.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.50 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time

• Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:30 PM
• Thursday-Sunday, 6:30 AM-5:30 PM

Penmac Staffing is seeking Operator Leads for a growing data center operation. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will provide daily direction and support to a team of Data Center Operators while actively participating in day-to-day operations. As a Operator Lead, you will help coordinate workflow, maintain quality and productivity standards, support employee training, and promote a safe and organized work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with leadership experience who enjoys problem-solving, teamwork, and helping build a successful operation from the ground up.

Requirements for the Operator Leads

• High school diploma or GED required
