Job summary

Five Star Infrastructure Services, dBA InterCon Construction is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Wisconsin to safely operate rubber-tire equipment and related machinery on construction sites. The role requires reading blueprints, following safety procedures and performing site preparation tasks.

Typical duties include locating underground utilities, guiding pipe and cable with various machines, and performing routine equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Class A CDL required.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to bend/kneel/stand/walk for long periods.
• Lift/push/pull 20+ pounds regularly.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Experience operating construction equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while operating heavy machinery.
• Locate underground utilities prior to starting work.
• Review blueprints or specs to determine work requirements.
• Operate machinery for dirt placement/removal.
• Guide and install pipe and cable with machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Assist with laborer tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements.


• Utilize different machines for placement and removal of dirt/debris.


• Use machinery to guide and install pipe and cable.


• Perform routine maintenance of equipment.


• Assist with Laborer jobs as needed.


• Perform other duties as assigned.
