Job summary

SMC Ltd. in Wisconsin is looking for an Operator to play a critical role in manufacturing parts for lifesaving medical devices. You will operate automated injection molding machines and ensure high quality in production.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma and ideally one year of experience in a production environment. The role offers competitive pay of up to $22.00/hr, quarterly bonuses, and a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in production environment preferred, preferably in a medical or Clean Room Environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated injection molding machines to manufacture high-precision plastic parts.
• Visually inspect products and report defects.
• Package parts using various tools and sometimes assemble by hand.

Typical day in the life of an Operator

• You’ll be directly involved in the manufacturing process and operate automated injection molding machines, making high-precision plastic parts for a variety of world class clients. These parts are put into medical and industrial devices that are used by thousands of people around the globe every day.
• You’ll use precision measuring instruments, visually inspect products and report surface and dimension defects, and sometimes package them using a variety of tools, including robots. Depending on the job, sometimes you’ll put some of the parts together by hand.
