Job summary

ProAmpac, a manufacturer of paper yarns for wicker furniture and packaging, seeks a Manufacturing Machine Operator for our Alabama facility. The role requires stamina to work long shifts, bend and lift up to 50 lbs, and tolerate hot, humid conditions while maintaining safety standards.

Applicants with prior machine operator experience are preferred. Roles involve adherence to all policies and PPE requirements, with overtime and weekend coverage as needed to support production goals.

Job description

We manufacture a wide range of round or shaped paper yarns to be used in the industrial production of wicker furniture and retail packaging.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work overtime as needed, including 10 hour shifts, Saturdays and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk extended periods
• Constant bending
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. continuously
• Tolerance to working in hot, humid conditions and heavy lifting
• Must adhere to company policies, safety rules and regulations and wear PPE
• Manufacturing Machine Operator experience preferred

First shift hours: 7 AM - 3 PM Overtime will require earlier start times.

Second shift hours: 3 PM - 11 PM Overtime will required later end times.
