Job summary

Nexus Integrity Management, LLC is seeking an experienced Operator Qualification (OQ) Evaluator to support our pipeline integrity and safety programs. The role administers, documents, and coordinates OQ evaluations for employees and qualified contractors to ensure competent performance of covered tasks.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in pipeline operations and familiarity with Veriforce/ISNetworld systems, and is able to travel to field locations, client sites, and training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years in pipeline operations, corrosion control, natural gas distribution, hazardous liquid pipeline operations, or related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Operator Qualification requirements and evaluations.
• Experience performing technical assessments, field evaluations, or competency verification.
• Ability to travel to multiple job sites and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Administer written and computer-based Operator Qualification assessments in accordance with approved program requirements.
• Conduct hands-on performance evaluations to verify employee competency in performing designated covered tasks.
• Evaluate employees' knowledge, technical skills, safe work practices, and ability to respond to abnormal operating conditions.
• Perform evaluations using approved assessment criteria, performance checklists, and established qualification standards.
• Maintain impartiality, consistency, and integrity throughout the evaluation process.
• Identify employees who do not meet established competency requirements and communicate findings to appropriate management personnel.
• Coordinate reevaluations and follow-up assessments when necessary.
• Conduct evaluations at company facilities, training locations, client sites, and active field locations as authorized.
• Support internal audits, client audits, and regulatory reviews by providing accurate evaluation records.
• Monitor qualification expiration dates and assist with coordinating required reevaluations.
• Support administration of qualification platforms, including systems such as Veriforce, ISNetworld, or other client-designated systems, as applicable.
• Coordinate testing schedules with Operations, Human Resources, Safety, and project leadership.
