Job summary

Van Drunen Farms is hiring for a full-time production role with an evening shift (Tue–Sat, 6:30pm–5:00am). Expected pay range is $20.15–$22.20 per hour, with potential supplemental compensation through bonus programs.

Benefits eligibility and shift differential are offered, and safety is emphasized through strict PPE use and LOTO practices. The ideal candidate has at least six months of production experience, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to operate ERP scanners.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 6 months of production experience or equivalent.
  • Basic reading, writing and computer skills; ERP scanner usage.
  • Ability to perform basic math, count items, report weights, and track inventory adjustments.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, disassemble, clean, sanitize, and set up equipment and work areas.
  • Operate and monitor production equipment following safety and quality standards.
  • Follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and apply LOTO procedures.
  • Perform CCP checks, follow GMPs and SOPs, report quality concerns.
  • Complete scheduled cleaning, support production goals, and work overtime as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist with training new employees.

What You’ll Do
  • Assemble, disassemble, clean, sanitize, and set up equipment and work areas to support efficient production operations.
  • Operate and monitor production equipment while following established safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, participate in safety training and meetings, and apply Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
  • Perform Critical Control Point (CCP) checks, follow GMPs and SOPs, and promptly report product quality or handling concerns.
  • Complete scheduled cleaning and sanitation activities, support production goals, and work overtime as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members, communicate effectively across departments, and assist with training and onboarding new employees.
What You’ll Bring
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A minimum of six months of production experience, or an equivalent combination of related experience, education, and training.
  • Basic reading, writing, and computer skills, with the ability to use ERP scanners when required.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations, accurately count items, report weights, and track inventory adjustments.
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Previous forklift experience is a plus.
