The Operator 4 is responsible for assembling and wiring cabinets in accordance with engineering drawings, and work instructions. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with hand and power tools, and a commitment to quality and safety.

As an Operator 4, you will be responsible for:

• Assembling electrical control cabinets and panels according to engineering drawing and wiring diagrams
• Installing components such as relays, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, and wiring.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, layout drawings.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area following safety protocols

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have High school diploma or equivalent required
• Have previous experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or similar manufacturing environment preferred
• Have ability to read and interpret drawings
• Have familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
• Have basic understanding of electrical components and wiring practices
• Have experience with industrial control panels or electrical cabinet assembly
• Have strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Have good communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

• Have ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly
• Have ability to stand, bend, and work for extended periods
• Have manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for detailed work
• Have ability to work in a manufacturing environment (may include noise, dust, and varying temperatures)

Work Environment

This position operates in a production/manufacturing environment and requires adherence to all safety guidelines and procedures.

Steel/ composite shoes required, safety glasses required.

The hourly pay scale for this position is between $20.71 - $34.49.

Candidates for this role (office‑based) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes' good‑faith estimate of the minimum and maximum pay for this position at the time of posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non‑bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires. Full‑time salaries in some U.S. locations may not include equity or benefits.

Where an applicant ultimately falls within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time.
