Job summary

Dauch Corporation, a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier, seeks an Operator Level 1 to visually inspect forged steel parts and safely load/unload them onto conveyors, pallets, or machines.

You will follow work instructions, use gauges to verify dimensions, identify defects, and maintain accurate production records in a fast-paced, noisy environment. A high school diploma or GED is required; prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand basic work instructions and safety rules in English.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Experience in manufacturing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect forged steel parts for cracks, defects, scale, and dimensional issues.
• Load/unload parts onto machinery, conveyors, hoppers, or pallets using proper equipment.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming material for rework or scrap.
• Package, stack, or band parts for storage or shipment according to specs.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Assist machine operators by supplying work-in-process material.
