Job summary

CSI Kilgore Plant in Kilgore, TX is seeking an Operator to support continuous production, follow SOPs, ensure label accuracy, and uphold EHS and food safety standards. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work with multiple departments to resolve issues quickly.

Responsibilities include labeling products per orders, minimizing waste, monitoring quality data, maintaining a clean work area, and following LTTV/GMP rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment screens.
• Must be flexible and detail-oriented; able to identify defects.

Responsibilities

• Pack and label products per customer orders and specs.
• Minimize waste and scrap; participate in process improvements.
• Monitor product quality using QC information; report issues.
• Maintain clean work area and adhere to safety and housekeeping standards.
• Follow SOPs (LTTV, GMP) and handle hazardous materials properly.
• Be open to first or second shift and complete required training.

# Operator - KilgoreKilgore Plant - Kilgore, TX 75662## Description**Job Description:**The Operator position requires experience and skill in following standard operating procedures, working standards, label standards, and all EHS and Food Safety requirements. The primary focus is the continuous production of quality products, reduction of downtime, ensuring equipment issues are reported to Production Tech, and continuous flow of product into boxes. Responsible for working with all departments to ensure problems are identified and resolved quickly. This position will report directly to the Production Supervisor.**Duties and Responsibilities:**1. Packs and properly labels product based on customer orders and specifications.2. Minimize waste and scrap; participates in problem solving efforts to make the area more efficient.3. Utilizes Quality Control information to monitor product quality, reports issues to Supervisor.4. Housekeeping-keeps work area clean; uses spare time constructively.5. Promotes teamwork utilizing CSI team principles for working together.6. Follow all procedures and SOP’s for the facility i.e., LTTV, GMP rules, etc.7. Be aware of hazardous materials in the area and the proper handling of hazardous materials.8. Be aware of, understand, and follow emergency procedures.9. Report all spills or other environmental incidents following EHS protocol.10. Follow all food safety guidelines while on the manufacturing floor.11. Report any deviation from food safety protocol to the functional responsible personnel.12. Each employee will do one bi-annual Quality/GMP Job Observation located on the EHS website.13. Complies with all OPEX (Operational Excellence) policies, procedures, and guidelines required of them in their current role; completes all required training, audits, and compliance tools.14.
