Job summary

City of Tulsa is seeking a candidate with a high school diploma or GED and several years of progressive experience in major repair or heavy construction. The role may include semiskilled and skilled work with lead responsibilities, and could require 1 year of experience as an Operator II.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet the following criteria: a) Graduation from high school or possession of a General Educational Development Certificate (GED); and b) Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the major repair or heavy construction field, including,c) Semiskilled and skilled work in the major repair or heavy construction field with some lead work responsibility; or d) One (1) year as an Operator II.
HOURS: MONDAY-THURSDAY 7:00AM-5:30PM

PAY SCALE: Click for Labor Trade (LT) Pay Scale
Licenses and Certificates: 1. Possession of a valid Oklahoma Class "D" Driver License 2. Class "A" CDL with endorsements within designated timeframes depending on division, some positions 3. Relevant Class "D" Water/Wastewater License as issued by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) within 6 months of hire, some positions 4. Confined Space Entry Certification and/or Certification on Self -Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) within 6 months of hire, some positions.
