Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a production operator in Wooster, OH. The role involves preparing machines according to work orders, monitoring sequences, and taking corrective actions to maintain efficiency.

You will inspect parts, discard defects, and support machine maintenance while strictly adhering to safety rules and PPE requirements. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, can read and communicate in English, and are authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English.
• Ability to operate medium complex machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or sponsorship.

• Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order information.
• Check production status within and in between each production sequence and take action in case of deviations.

Your Qualifications

Preferred

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience of operating machines in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with power tools
• Ability to read Blueprints
