Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a manufacturing-oriented operator for on-site work in the United States. The role involves preparing machines, monitoring production, and maintaining quality by inspecting parts and addressing deviations in real time.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, strong English communication, and the ability to operate medium complex machinery. Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship is required.

• Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order information.
• Check production status within and in between each production sequence and taking action in case of deviations.
• Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes and follow documented procedures and processes.
• Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects and discard defective parts and follow proper protocol.
• Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
