Schaeffler Transmission Systems, LLC is seeking a manufacturing operator to prepare machines, monitor production, inspect parts and assist with maintenance. The role requires reading work orders, following procedures, and maintaining safety standards on the shop floor.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be legally eligible to work in the United States. Starting wages are $22.55 per hour with premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English.
• Ability to operate medium complex machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Check production status within and in between each production sequence and taking action in case of deviations.
• Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes and follow documented procedures and processes.
• Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects and discard defective parts and follow proper protocol.
• Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order information

• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Your Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English
• Ability to operate medium complex machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Good visual acuity
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Preferred

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience of operating machines in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with power tools
• Ability to read Blueprints
