Job summary

Baxter is hiring for an assembly position in Skaneateles Falls, New York. You'll be responsible for following assembly processes and assisting with equipment setup while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Job description

What You'll Be Doing:

• Responsible for reading, understanding, and following assembly processes.
• Assist in the setup of test equipment, leak tester and/or tensile tester, and leak test cuffs as required.
• Perform routine assembly operations, including soldering, using RTVS (room temperature vulcanization silicone), epoxies, and fold, label, and box product.
• Use measurement equipment or learn to use it.
• Maintain good verbal and written skills, keep records, basic problem‑solving skills, train and work with a diverse group, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Lift 40 lbs while using proper lifting techniques.
• Work in various positions: standing, sitting, repetitive tasks.
• Consistently meet all productivity and quality requirements.
• Be self‑motivated with little supervision.
• Demonstrate good judgment, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize accordingly.

What You'll Bring:

• A high school diploma or equivalency and at least 1 year of successful experience in assembly/related functional area.
• Good mechanical dexterity/eyesight, reading, writing and basic math; maintain high accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Adaptability to a changing work environment, increased automation, changes in production methods or sequences, and rotation among workstations.
• Work well with others and actively participate in team problem‑solving activities.
• May be requested to work overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Natural or corrected near‑distance visual acuity of 20/25 and ability to differentiate between colors.
• Lift 40 lbs and work in standing, sitting, and repetitive tasks.

Compensation: $21.00 per hour.
