The Opportunity

This position works out of our St Paul-Woodridge, MN, location in the Structural Heart (SH) division.

Main Purpose of Role

As an Operator II, you’ll work under direct supervision, performing routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes.

What You’ll Work On

  • Assemble catheters in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures.
  • Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measuring equipment, microscopes and test fixtures.
  • Participate in meetings as requested. Work with peers, trainer, supervisor, and engineers to resolve line issues and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adherence to clean room environment practices and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation records related to quality, work in progress, test results, and special projects.
  • Adhere to and support general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, QSR and FDA regulations.
  • Role is primarily responsible for Operational project planning implementation, valve process planning feedback, and manufacturing testing standards review and compliance.

Shift

Monday - Thursday, 4:00 am - 2:30 pm

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Typically, two plus years of relevant training/experience in medical device assembly
  • The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is also required; this requirement includes clear, understandable speech and demonstrated comprehension skills
  • Must have the ability to on occasion lift up to approximately 25 pounds
  • The ability to work overtime is required
  • Previous microscope experience is highly desired

Preferred Qualifications

  • AA degree in Electrical/Mechanical Technology, or comparable specialized training in and working knowledge of the manufacture of implantable medical devices or equivalent is desired.
  • Five years or more of medical device or related assembly experience is preferred.

The base pay for this position is

$14.95 – $29.95/hour
