Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Operator I, Production Technical Operations, to perform manual and operational tasks in manufacturing. You will set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment to meet product specs, schedules, and quality standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and fluent English. Work hours are 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 7:30am–4pm, onsite in Fort Worth, TX. Relocation/sponsorship not available.

• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.

The Operator I, Production Technical Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for handling manual and operational tasks in production, ensuring equipment is set up, operated, maintained, and troubleshot to meet product specifications, schedules, and quality standards. Your responsibilities include:

• Handle manual or operational tasks as per guidelines to ensure smooth and efficient processes
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment
• Ensure products meet specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods
• Monitor output quality to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis
• Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations for alignment with business objectives
• Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining documentation, and ensuring quality control
• Complete all required training and contribute to organizational compliance
• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance

What you'll bring to Alcon:

• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

Work Hours: 1st Shift - 8 hours (Mon - Fri 7:30am to 4pm)
