Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Operator I, Production (Para-Professional & Support Path) to join its Manufacturing team in Texas. You will handle manual and production tasks, set up and maintain equipment, and ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma, English fluency, and availability for the 3rd shift (8 hours, 10:30 PM EST - 6:30 AM EST). Onsite work with sponsorship and relocation not available.

Qualifications

• Must fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Able to follow guidelines for manual/operational production tasks.
• Possesses basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle manual or operational production tasks according to guidelines to ensure smooth processes.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Ensure products meet specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality and identify, discard, or re manufacture faulty products.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations to align with business objectives.
• Complete all required training and maintain organizational compliance.
• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following SOPs, maintaining complete documentation, and performing rigorous quality control

The Operator I, Production (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for handling manual and operational tasks in production, ensuring equipment is set up, operated, maintained, and troubleshot to meet product specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
