Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Operator I in Production Technical Operations to perform manual and equipment-based tasks on the 3rd shift. You will set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production lines to meet product specifications, schedules, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring output quality, maintaining production records, and aligning operations with business objectives. Onsite role with comprehensive benefits and continuous improvement focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Fluent reading/writing/listening/communication in English required.
• Location: Onsite; Work Hours: 3rd Shift (8 Hours, 10:30 PM EST - 6:30 AM EST).

Responsibilities

• Handle manual or operational production tasks according to guidelines to ensure smooth processes.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Ensure products meet specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality and identify, discard, or re manufacture faulty products.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations to align with business objectives.
• Complete all required training and maintain organizational compliance.
• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following SOPs, maintaining complete documentation, and performing rigorous quality control

This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.

The Operator I, Production Technical Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for handling manual and operational tasks in production, ensuring equipment is set up, operated, maintained, and troubleshot to meet product specifications, schedules, and quality standards.

• Work Hours: 3rd Shift – 8 Hours 10:30 PM EST - 6:30AM EST (Sunday night – Thursday night)
• Location: Onsite
