Job summary

The Gund Company is hiring a Utility Operator I for the 1st shift to support production operations. You will run CNC and non-CNC equipment, perform manual assembly, and ensure parts meet work order specifications and customer requirements.

Qualified applicants have a High School diploma or GED, strong math and measurement skills, and can lift up to 40 pounds. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities within a global materials solutions leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment such as vertical mills and other CNC equipment.
• Perform manual assembly and fabrication tasks using hand tools and machines.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality, quantity, and customer standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols.
• Assist with troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on production machinery as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
