Job summary

Kohler Co. in Sheridan, AR is hiring Manufacturing Associates for our Plastics Facility. This onsite role focuses on moving materials, assembling customer orders, labeling, and preparing items for packing and shipping, supporting safe and efficient production of kitchen and bathroom products.

Shifts include 2nd shift (Sun–Thu 2pm–10pm) and 3rd shift (Sun–Thu 9:48pm–6:00am). Starting wage is $18.75 per hour with an additional $1.00 per hour for 2nd shift, plus comprehensive benefits from day one

Qualifications

  • Ability to read orders and move materials in a warehouse setting.
  • Must be able to work on-site at Sheridan, AR.
  • Must be 18+ years old and eligible to work in the US.
  • 1+ year manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reads orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Conveys materials and items to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and prepares for packing or shipping.
  • Marks materials with identifying information and records amounts received or distributed.

We are looking for Manufacturing Associates for our Plastics Facility. This position will be based at our Sheridan, AR location, where we specialize in manufacturing high-quality kitchen and bathroom products, including faucets, sinks, showers, and lighting.

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities
  • Reads orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping dock staging area.
  • Marks materials with identifying information.
  • Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution
  • Arranges stock parts in specified sequence.
  • Uses computer to enter records

Key Qualifications
  • Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.
  • Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience preferred.

The hourly range for this position is $18.75. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
