Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG in Fort Mill, SC is hiring a Manufacturing Machine Operator to prepare machines, set up tooling, and monitor production processes daily. You will inspect parts and address deviations as part of a disciplined manufacturing team.

The role requires following instructions in English, reading blueprints, and handling medium-heavy lifts. Shift premiums and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to operate complex manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order information
• Check production status within and in between each production sequence and taking action in case of deviations
• Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes and follow documented procedures and processes
• Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects and discard defective parts and follow proper protocol
• Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Your Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions write clear communication in English
• Ability to operate complex machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Preferred

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience of operating machines in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with power tools
• Ability to read and interpret Blueprints
• Salary Range: $21.20 - $23.85
• 2nd and 3rd shift premium available
• Hiring Bonus: $1,500 paid out in steps
