Job summary

Morrison Energy Group in Houma, LA, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate bulldozers, excavators, loaders and other machinery on our construction sites.

You will read blueprints, perform routine maintenance, and communicate with supervisors to ensure efficient project execution while adhering to safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, a valid TWIC Card and driver's license; certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification to operate heavy equipment preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety regulations.
• Valid TWIC Card and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment (bulldozers, excavators, graders) for construction tasks.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints, plans, and job specifications.
