Job summary

Charlotte Pipe is seeking a manufacturing associate to support core production on site in Wisconsin. The role requires following safety rules, work instructions and quality standards while inspecting, assembling and labeling cores, and using basic hand tools.

Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential for success. Applicants should be able to read procedures, operate hand and power tools safely, and may work with forklifts or overhead/crane equipment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Manufacturing, foundry, metal fabrication, grinding or finishing experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and quality procedures.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, or jib cranes is beneficial.

Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Follow all company safety rules, policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.

  • Follow work instructions, production schedules, quality standards, and established operating procedures.

  • Inspect cores for any defects and repair cores as needed

  • Assemble cores

  • Label and identify cores

  • Use basic hand tools

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.

  • Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion.

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.

  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

  • Ability to work in a loud, warm, dusty industrial environment.

  • Ability to safely wear and utilize required personal protective equipment.


Work Schedule


  • Must be available to work assigned shifts and overtime as production requirements dictate.

  • Occasional weekend work may be required.
