Job summary

PepsiCo in South Chesterfield, VA is seeking a night-shift packaging operator to support Sabra-brand production. You’ll set up and run packaging lines, load materials, and maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.

• Full-time night-shift production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up packaging equipment by entering HMI settings and manual adjustments.
• Load labels, corrugate, glue, and other materials into packaging equipment.
• Perform manual equipment changeovers for different production runs.
• Record production, equipment test, and quality data on forms.
• Ensure equipment surfaces are clean after sanitation processes.
• Share shift updates during pass-down meetings and track status.
• Train peers and follow SOP/SSOP guidance for safe operations.
• Plan start/stop times and calculate raw materials to meet shift goals.

Quick Look

• Pay: $27.45 per hour
• Location: South Chesterfield, VA
• Work Days: Mon-Fri 8-hour Shift
• Start Time: 11pm
• End Time: 7am

What You’ll Do

• Set up packaging equipment by entering HMI settings or manually adjusting switches, dials, levers, and knobs to meet proper operating parameters
• Load labels, corrugate, glue, and other materials into packaging equipment to keep production running smoothly
• Complete manual equipment changeovers, including the Quadrel Labeler and Douglas Casepacker, for different production runs
• Record production, equipment test, and quality assurance data on required forms to support tracking and product quality
• Check equipment surfaces for cleanliness after manual and COP tank cleaning and sanitation processes are complete
• Share and gather shift updates during pass down meetings, including work status, recipes, cleaning progress, equipment needs, and open issues
• Support peer-to-peer training and follow SOP and SSOP guidance to maintain safe, consistent operating practices
• Plan production start and stop times, and calculate raw materials needed to meet shift goals
