Job summary

Sabra is seeking a packaging operator to operate and adjust packaging equipment, load materials, and support production goals with a strong emphasis on quality and safety. This full-time role is based in Virginia and involves 11pm–7am shifts, with on-the-job training and a fast-paced environment.

You will perform equipment changeovers, maintain cleanliness, share shift updates, and help plan start/stop times while ensuring accurate recording of production data and adherence to SOP/SSOP

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to work in cold or hot environments, stand for long periods of time, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up packaging equipment by entering HMI settings or manually adjusting switches, dials, levers, and knobs to meet proper operating parameters
• Load labels, corrugate, glue, and other materials into packaging equipment to keep production running smoothly
• Complete manual equipment changeovers, including the Quadrel Labeler and Douglas Casepacker, for different production runs
• Record production, equipment test, and quality assurance data on required forms to support tracking and product quality
• Check equipment surfaces for cleanliness after manual and COP tank cleaning and sanitation processes are complete
• Share and gather shift updates during pass down meetings, including work status, recipes, cleaning progress, equipment needs, and open issues
• Support peer-to-peer training and follow SOP and SSOP guidance to maintain safe, consistent operating practices
• Plan production start and stop times, and calculate raw materials needed to meet shift goals
