Job summary

Valgroup is hiring a Day Shift Operator Assistant to support our Findlay, Ohio manufacturing facility. You will learn to operate a NEW Production Line, start-ups, and troubleshoot while joining a team that values safety and reliability.

This role offers a 12-hour NIGHT shift with training on DAYS, a shift premium when moved to nights, and opportunities for advancement. We also provide competitive benefits including group medical, dental, 401K match, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Mechanical ability and problem solving are required.
• Safety-minded with attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate NEW Production Line.
• Train on DAYS while working a 12-hour NIGHT Shift.
• Work multiple weekdays and every other weekend.
• Become a Skilled Machine Operator.
• Pull and weigh materials.
• Learn line start-up and troubleshooting.
• Learn to operate forklift.
• Assist other projects as needed.

• Pull and weigh materials


• Learn line start-up and troubleshooting

• Assist other projects and work as needed

Skills needed for success:

• Mechanical ability and problem solving
