Job summary

Exyte is seeking a hands-on blasting operator to run sandblasting cabinet and large blast booth equipment. Responsibilities include handling and masking products, lifting heavy items, and performing quality inspections to ensure specifications are met. The role may involve occasional assignment to other departments as needed.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods (up to 10 hours) and working in a fast-paced environment

Job description

The primary responsibilities of this position include product handling, operation of blasting equipment & performing quality inspections.

• Operation of both sandblasting cabinet & large blast booth equipment
• Daily duties include product handling, lifting, prepping/masking of product
• Must feel comfortable with the operation of lifting devices (hoist) while handling larger product
• Individuals will also be responsible for performing Quality Control inspections on product entering & exiting department; ensuring product meets specification
• Other duties and related work may be assigned as necessary

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to stand on feet for up to 10 hrs. daily
• Ability to comfortably work in a fast paced work environment
• May be required to work in other departments if needed
• Passing a PFT exam, if wearing a supplied air system (large blast booth)
