Job summary

Ellingson is hiring an Operator to join their growing team, handling heavy equipment safety and upkeep while supporting fiber optic installation projects and basement digging. Training is provided for new tasks, and you will represent the company professionally with customers and teammates.

Significant travel is required, with full-time, non-exempt status. A valid license, good driving record, and ability to obtain a DOT medical card are essential; no CDL required at start, with onboarding

Qualifications

• Experience operating skid steers and pay loaders (excavator experience a plus). Forklift-only experience does not qualify.
• Some mechanical aptitude — you don't need to be an expert, just capable.
• Valid driver's license required with a good driving record; must be able to obtain a DOT medical card (Ellingson will help you get this during onboarding) to drive a company pickup truck.

The Operator will be responsible for the following:

Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

Perform mechanical upkeep on equipment as needed.
