Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring an Operator for a Germantown, WI facility. This is a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift role with wages between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour. Hours are 7:00am-3:00pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm, or 11:00pm-7:00am.

You will read shop orders, operate hand tools, run basic thermoformer controls, and support 5S practices. Candidates should be able to stand most of the shift, lift up to 50 pounds, and have basic computer skills.

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to stand most of day and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand production shop orders and follow instructions.
• Safely use hand tools to finish, clean or deburr parts.
• Understand basic thermoformer controls and load/unload machines.
• Operate CNC/robotic trimming equipment safely.
• Promote 5S procedures and contribute improvement ideas.

QPS Employment Group is hiring an Operator for a company in Germantown, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.

Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Read and understand production shop orders (including visual work instructions), interpret and use the instructions they provide
• Safe and accurate use of hand tools (including routers, drills, cutting tools, and finishing tools) for the purpose of finishing, cleaning or deburring parts
• Understand basic thermoformer controls and run production, with ability to load and unload machines
• Safe operation of band saws for pretrimming or cutting up scrap
• Use and understand basic measuring tools, including tape measures, scales (rulers), and heat guns
• Keep accurate records and entries in the data collection system, QC reports and day by the hour reports
• Contribute continuous improvement ideas regularly
• Operate CNC / robotic trimming equipment safely, including stopping/starting machines
• Participate and promote 5S procedures and practices

Operator Requirements:

• Experience working with large machinery preferred
• Basic computer knowledge
• Able to stand most of day - 2/3 of shift
• Able to walk throughout shift - 1/3 of shift
• Able to reach, stoop, bend and crouch - 1/3 of shift
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds - 2/3 of shift
