Job summary

CKM Industries Inc. is seeking an experienced hydroblasting technician to operate and troubleshoot high‑pressure equipment in Sulphur, LA. You will handle tank cleaning, vacuum trucks, and related duties in demanding industrial environments.

You must be able to work 12‑hour shifts, travel to sites, lift heavy tools, and comply with safety SOPs and pre‑employment screenings. Prior refinery or waste‑handling experience and a valid TWIC card are preferred.

Qualifications

Overview

Job Details: Level: Experienced. Location: Sulphur, LA 70665.

Responsibilities and Key Deliverables

• Hydroblasting, tank cleaning, and pressure washing as needed.
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Show proficiency in operating and troubleshooting hydroblasting, vacuum truck, and tank cleaning equipment.
• Operate 10k and 20k pumps and hydro blast tooling safely and efficiently as needed.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Familiarity with hydroblasting equipment and high-pressure systems.
• Dependable, willing to work additional hours as required, and team oriented.
• Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work safely around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Acceptable MVR/Background Check and pass pre-employment screenings.
• Previous waste handling experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Refinery experience.
• Valid TWIC Card.

Work Environment

• Tools, equipment, machinery used: Hydroblasting, vacuum truck, and tank cleaning equipment.
• Working conditions: Exposed to all weather conditions. Work on structures and surfaces both at ground and elevated levels up to and possibly exceeding 150 ft. Work in confined spaces. 12-hour shifts with 30-minute lunch breaks. Overtime and emergency callouts may be required. Day, night, and weekend work. Travel to customers and other Miller sites as needed.
• Physical effort: Handling tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 150 lbs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Sit, stand, walk, crawl, bend, squat, and kneel. Capable of climbing towers, vessels, and tanks.
