Job summary

Crestron Electronics, Inc. is seeking an assembler to join our manufacturing team at our NJ TX facilities network. The role involves assembling products according to SOPs, using hand tools, and ensuring quality and safety standards.

You will read blueprints, follow production instructions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals. Experience in manufacturing and a willingness to learn are valued traits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Willingness to learn and be trained on equipment.
• Cross-train across production cells.
• Experience with electrical, electronic, or mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow written work instructions to assemble products.
• Use hand tools and job-specific tooling as required by SOP.
• Follow SOPs, change control, validation processes, and GMP compliance.

Assemble, Configure, Laser mark or fabricate wiring and or mechanical parts, handling of materials, Metals, Fabrics, Plastics, and or finished products together using a variety of tools and equipment according to required blueprints, Layouts, and component overviews in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization. Set up and operation of PCBA equipment, test equipment utilizing IPC standards

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow written work instructions or procedures to accurately assembly products
• Utilize hand tools such as handheld screwdrivers, cordless/pneumatic drill guns and other job specific tooling as required by departmental SOP
• Follow SOP's, change control / validation processes, and adhere to established programs for GMP compliance
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• 0-2 years of experience in Manufacturing environment
• Must have the willingness to learn and be trained on various types of equipment
• Moderately complex work performed within established practices and procedures requiring critical thinking skills
• Demonstrate the willingness to cross train across various production cells
• Experience with Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical assembly processes and measurements
