Operator and Maintenance Technician — New York, NY

We are working with one of the leading projects in Renewable Energy happening right now in New York. Do you want to take your step in to working with Power? We are seeking an experienced Operator or Maintenance Technician looking to work with the latest systems.

Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Performing preventative maintenance on a range of equipment in the substation, including breakers, switchgear and measuring devices.
Reporting outages through the correct channels for effective resolution.

Qualifications

Prior experience working on a power generation site/substation, or as a Lineman. Or an educational knowledge level of power or renewables.
Ability to interpret data and translate into reports.
Has effective decision in situations to resolve potential issues.
Knowledge of HVDC systems and associated equipment is a plus.
