Job summary

Tetra Pak in Louisa, VA is seeking an Operator to maintain machines and perform autonomous maintenance (AM) and cleaning, inspection, and lubrication (CIL). You will follow production safety rules and procedures and identify anomalies with basic testing tasks.

As an Operator you will test products, troubleshoot equipment, monitor processes, assemble materials, and write improvement tags while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • Dependable and reliable.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, understand and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate and maintain equipment in manufacturing environment.

Job summary

Acquire the skills to maintain the machines as per autonomous maintenance (AM) and produce straws as per given methods that consider World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methods and quality parameters. You will:

  • Follow production safety rules
  • Work according to existing procedures/ Standards
  • Execute basic Autonomous Maintenance (AM) operations and Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication (CIL)
  • Define anomalies and put tags
  • Conduct basic/elementary quality tests
  • Create One Point Lessons (OPLs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

This position is based in Louisa, VA. Tetra Pak Tubex Inc. does not offer relocation assistance or employment visa sponsorship for this role. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay Equity

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries forthe position across all US locations. Ranges are determined by role, level and responsibilities. Within the range, individual pay is defined by diverse factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work location and others.

This compensation range is based onfull-timeschedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances.

Annual Base Salary Range:$41,500 - $48,700 ($20-$23/hour)

Short-term Incentive (Variable Pay):eligible to performance incentive of 10%
