Tenneco in Alabama is seeking a manufacturing operations candidate to operate various types of machinery and produce high-volume, quality parts. You will work in cells, on the assembly line, or independently, performing multiple operations and maintaining production counts.
The role requires staying aware of safety procedures, making minor machine adjustments, ensuring part quality, and recording time and setup data.
High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.).
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above and below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to operate various types of machines/presses, etc. Normal dexterity required. Must be able to run the equipment in a safe manner and meet the physical requirements of the position and work safely in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment like conveyor belts, presses, fork trucks and overhead cranes. May be exposed to potential lost-time accidents as related to factory/manufacturing environment.
