Kamehameha Schools, Hawaii Campus, is seeking an Operations Utility Worker (Temporary, On-Call). Under general supervision, you will perform a wide range of custodial, ground maintenance and building upkeep tasks, including event setup and breakdown, to support students and staff.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of related work experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with flexibility to work afternoons and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of related work experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate power tools and perform grounds maintenance.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Flexible availability for afternoons and weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties: sweeping, dusting, mopping, disinfecting, polishing, cleaning, vacuuming.
• Clean appliances, surfaces, fixtures with cleaning agents and tools.
• Perform ground maintenance: trimming, mowing, planting, fertilizing, weeding, spraying, watering, digging, shoveling.
• Perform building repairs: painting, scraping, window cleaning, pressure washing, fixture repairs.
• Support campus operations: moving, event setup/breakdown, carrying supplies and equipment.
• Report repair and maintenance needs for equipment and facilities.
• Secure work area when leaving the site.

General descriptions of types of work are custodial, ground maintenance or building maintenance. Will be assigned to set up and break down special events.
