Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) invites qualified professionals to join the PEPI Transformation Services team across the U.S. to deliver large, high‑impact engagements aimed at EBITDA and cash‑flow improvements for private equity portfolio companies.

You will help identify opportunities, design plans, and drive execution with PE leadership guidance. The role emphasizes hands‑on delivery, structured problem solving, and leadership growth across client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–4 years of professional industry or consulting experience implementing operating expense cost reduction programs.
• Depth in a particular industry vertical is a plus (e.g., industrials, business services, distribution, consumer products and retail).

Responsibilities

• Work with Private Equity leadership to identify, design, and implement cost-reduction opportunities for portfolio companies.
• Structure performance improvement plans and manage delivery through to completion.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost structures by addressing leadership, staffing, and back-office efficiency.
• Synthesize data and insights to improve EBITDA and operating performance.
• Develop findings and make strategic recommendations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree
