Responsibilities include creating quick-reference guides, tracking training completion, and supporting system go-lives and updates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
• Proficient with WMS, ERP (NetSuite or similar), and standard warehouse IT devices/scanners.
• Experience operating or working around powered material-handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks).
• Strong, patient communication style with the ability to explain technology clearly to floor staff.
• Education: High school diploma; degrees/certs in business/logistics preferred.

We are seeking an engaging, hands-on Operations Technology Trainer to join our team at a high-volume distribution center in Greer, SC. Unlike traditional desk-based corporate training roles, this is an active, floor-based position spent working directly alongside warehouse personnel. You will coach forklift, reach truck, and cherry picker operators on IT devices, WMS workflows, and ERP software to reduce user errors and drive consistent operational efficiency across all shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• System & Workflow Training: Onboard and train warehouse staff on core WMS workflows (receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, cycle counts, replenishment) and job‑relevant NetSuite functions.
• Floor Coaching & Equipment Support: Ride along and observe MHE operators (forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks) to verify correct system use and answer day‑to‑day software questions on the floor.
• Error Detection & Reporting: Spot recurring user errors on the floor, coach team members in real time, and document system incidents with root‑cause details for IT and leadership.
• Content Creation & Tracking: Build accessible reference materials (quick‑reference guides, short how‑to videos), track training completion, and report skill gaps to supervisors.
• System Rollouts & Continuous Improvement: Participate in software testing, lead pre‑launch training, and support staff during system go‑lives and technology updates.

Responsibilities

• System & Workflow Training: Onboard and train warehouse personnel on WMS core workflows (receiving, picking, cycle counts, replenishment) and job‑relevant NetSuite functions.
• Floor Coaching & Support: Ride along with forklift, reach truck, and cherry picker operators to ensure proper IT tool usage, answer daily system questions, and coach staff in real time.
• Error Detection & Incident Reporting: Spot user errors on the floor, document process failures and system incidents with root‑cause details, and report patterns to IT and DC leadership.
• Training Material Creation: Develop quick reference cards, one‑page guides, and short how‑to videos while tracking completion progress and flagging gaps to supervisors.
• System Go‑Lives & Updates: Assist with user testing, change management, and pre‑launch training to support smooth technology rollouts on the floor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of hands‑on experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
• Systems Proficiency: Comfortable learning and navigating WMS, ERP (NetSuite or similar), and standard warehouse IT devices/scanners.
• Equipment Familiarity: Experience operating or working around powered material‑handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, order pickers, reach trucks).
• Communication Skills: Strong, patient, and approachable communication style with an ability to explain technology processes clearly to floor staff.
• Education: High school diploma required; degree or certifications in business, logistics, or industrial fields preferred.
