Job summary

Cargill is hiring an Operations Technician in Wahpeton, ND. This part-time role supports chemical, mechanical, and thermal processes, troubleshooting equipment and contributing to continuous improvement.

You will work in a rotating shift, indoors/outdoors, and handle data recording, inventory tasks, and material loading with strict safety practices. The position requires 18+ years, US work eligibility, English literacy, and strength for physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment across production areas, including rotation/backfill support.

• Perform preventative and autonomous maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Record production data, manage inventory, and load/unload materials.
• Follow SOPs and participate in continuous improvement with peers and management.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with safety policies.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or variable shifts as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
