Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field technician to safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations. The role involves reading and interpreting drawings, inspecting equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

The candidate will analyze data, collaborate on solutions, and maintain accurate process records while following all company policies. Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential, with a preference for those with an Associates

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years in oil and gas tech role.
• Associates or 2-year technical degree preferred.
• Valid State Driver’s License with clean record.
• Proven ability to adopt technology to improve ops.
• Prioritize safety in all tasks.
• Proficiency with MS Office and control systems.

Job description

• Safely maintains equipment and supports pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings, inspecting/supervising equipment and maintaining operation/technical standards and/or governmental requirements
• Analyzes data and collaborates with others to find solutions to technical or operational problems
• Follows all Company policies and applies appropriate operating and maintenance procedures
• Acquires knowledge of and adheres to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets
• Maintains general knowledge of site/location/equipment and permitting
• Completes assigned reports, logs and maintains accurate records of process operations and performance of preventative maintenance on equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Required: High School Diploma/GED and minimum two (2) years’ related experience and minimum of one (1) year experience as a technician in the oil and gas industry
• Preferred: Associates or two-year technical degree
• Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Demonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes
• Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills, Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers
