Job summary

Williams in Pennsylvania seeks an Operations Technician to support pipeline operations, maintain equipment, and analyze data for resolving technical challenges while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading and interpreting drawings.
  • Inspect and supervise equipment to uphold operation/technical standards and government requirements.
  • Analyze data and collaborate with colleagues to solve technical or operational problems.
  • Follow all Company policies and apply appropriate operating and maintenance procedures.
  • Acquire knowledge of and adhere to requirements for safe and efficient facility operation, task execution, and protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets.
  • Maintain general knowledge of site/location/equipment and permitting.
  • Complete assigned reports and logs, and maintain accurate records of process operations and preventive maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role

As an Operations Technician at Williams, you will perform a variety of tasks to support pipeline operations, maintain equipment, and analyze data to resolve technical and operational challenges while ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading and interpreting drawings.
  • Inspect and supervise equipment to uphold operation/technical standards and government requirements.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Associate’s degree or a two‑year technical degree.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Work in extreme temperatures, loud noises, and enclosed spaces.
  • Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs; team lift loads exceeding 50 lbs as needed.
  • Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat for extended periods.
  • Work at elevated levels, such as from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, or small towers, using appropriate PPE.
Additional Requirements
  • Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
  • Aptitude for embracing technology and applications to drive operational efficiency.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a focus on safety.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PC skills, Process Control Systems, and Programmable Logic Controllers.
