Job summary

LANXESS is seeking an entry-level Operations role in El Dorado, AR, onsite. You will support DBS unit projects, monitor processes, and ensure safety and environmental policies are followed with a focus on reliability and cost efficiency.

The position requires a High School Diploma, the ability to multitask, and strong communication. A rotating 12-hour shift, potential forklift experience, and participation in safety programs are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously.
• Must be a team player.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work a twelve-hour rotating day/night shift and overtime as needed.
• Previous experience in operations is a plus.
• May require membership in Fire Brigade.
• Mechanical aptitude (working with pipe wrenches and tools needed for plant activities and minor maintenance).
• Experience in operating a forklift or ability to learn.
• Participation in plant safety programs.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must have good communication skills.

• Ability to cross train on all operations within the area.

• Identify routine maintenance requirements.
• Participate in activities and meetings which will enhance plant safety, reliability, cost and environmental performance as well as area production objectives.
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with site standards and coach others to do the same.
