Job summary

LANXESS Deutschland GmbH in Goose Creek, SC is seeking a hands-on operator to support production of a new product for global manufacturers. You will operate chemical processing equipment, monitor performance, maintain housekeeping, and participate in safety inspections.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment for repairs, conducting raw material and in-process lab procedures, and collaborating with Self-Directed Work Teams to meet quality and production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of industrial experience preferred.

• Operation of chemical processing equipment and physical material handling/processing equipment
• Proper monitoring of equipment and record keeping
• Maintaining good housekeeping throughout the building. Performing regular housekeeping inspections.
• Working safely and maintaining the work area in safe condition. Performing regular safety inspections.
• Preparing equipment for repairs.

Experience / Skills

• The incumbent must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years' experiencein anindustrialenvironment.
• Chemical Plant experience or training is preferred.
• Must be physically capable of lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling, and climbing.
